It was a breath of fresh air + the beginning of a new era as the Philadelphia Eagles brought the Vince Lombardi Super Bowl Championship Trophy home to Broad Street this Thursday. All love was spread throughout the entire city, as millions celebrated one unified dream come true.

CRUISING IN PHILLY WITH PENNY SKATEBOARDS
Two visionaries have come together to create a social media brand that highlights adventurers and explorers of color all across the world. The Black Outdoors, created by Tramond Baisden and Ezedube Eze in August 2016, helps increase awareness and exposure of people participating in outdoor recreational activities. This brand seeks to mend the gap between like-minded individuals in the outdoors and to show what possibilities are out there.
ROOKIE NOTES: BLOGGING AND TRAVELING THE WORLD WITH CHELSEA WILSON
During the Agenda Trade Show in Long Beach this summer, DARLA was introduced to a brand that showed us a new way to cruise around the city — Penny Skateboards. We met with Global Brand Manager, Jeff Goforth, who informed us all about the vision behind Penny Skateboards and how the brand is encouraging a healthy skate culture all over the world. Jeff explained to us how Penny Skateboards are for the everyday skater who needs a good quality, reliable board to get around on. They're ideal for both adult and youth skaters who use skateboarding as a means of transportation to get from point A to B.
What started as a blog to document her progression with running as she prepared for a 10k in April of 2013, turned into an informative and engaging look into the life of 23 year old Chelsea Wilson. Chelsea's blog, Rookie Notes, debuted in December 2012.
